Check out this FREE summer math program at  Once you sign your child up, they will take a short assessment to determine their math level and then they can begin the activities.  As the parent, you can set up rewards to motivate your child to continue working and making progress in the program.  Without some math practice during the summer, students will need a great deal of review to attain the math level that they were on when the school year ended.

Bulldog Brags

Brennen and Carver-Lyon Elementary Schools tied for first place in Richland One's Martin Luther King Jr. Food Drive.  Each school collected 1,895 pounds of food!  Our efforts were recognized at the MLK celebration on Monday, January 19 at MLK Park.  In addition, we will be recognized at the January 27 RCSD#1 school board meeting at St. Andrews Middle School.

Brennen raised the most money of any school in the school district for the March of Dimes Walk!  Thanks to all parents, teachers, staff and students who helped Team Brennen raise an impressive $4,430!

Congratulations again, Brennen, and all you wonderful Brennen volunteers!

Congratulations, Bulldogs!  We collected more food for the Harvest Hope Food Drive Campaign than any other school in the entire school district!  Our  families went above and beyond the call in collecting food for less fortunate families in our community.

To maximize service to Brennen families and to ensure the most efficient use of resources, we will be asking all parents and guardians to provide address documentation stating your legal domicile verification. A domicile is your PERMANENT LEGAL place of dwelling or where your child lies their head each night, which is different than the residence.
Beginning with the 2015-16 school year and ANNUALLY after that, ALL parents and guardians will be REQUIRED to provide THREE (3) current proofs domicile verification. Examples of what can be used are:
"               ONE (1) from the following: Real estate purchase contract, mortgage statement, lease agreement, a copy of payment stub. CAR TAX BILLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
"               TWO (2) from the following: Utility bills with the SERVICE address to the domicile (cable, electric, water, or land-line phone bills) CELL PHONE BILLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Please send nothing now. We will send out a notice later in the school year letting you know the days you can register students. The information required above will be brought with you then. If required information is not provided, your child or children will not be placed in a classroom.  Thank you for your attention and understanding as we work closely to maximize the resources for our students.

See you around campus.
